IEEE Bangladesh Section Appreciation and Award Ceremony 2024
IEEE Bangladesh Section and Dept. of EEE, BUET successfully organized “Symposium on Emerging Technology for Sustainable Future” On November 09, 2024 at IICT Seminar Room (ECE-705), ECE Building, BUET. This symposium focused on emerging technologies for a sustainable future that will play an important role in overcoming many sustainability challenges.
The keynote speakers of this event was Professor Dr. Saifur Rahman, Joseph R. Loring Professor of ECE, Virginia Tech, USA,
2023 IEEE President and CEO; Dr. Jessica Bian, Vice President, Grid Services at Grid-X Partners, USA; Prof. Dr. Goutam Chattopadhyay, Senior Scientist at the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology (Caltech), USA
We are honored that Professor Dr. Abdul Hasib Chowdhury, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, BUET graced the occasion as the Chief Guest; The Dean, Faculty of EEE, BUET Professor Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam was present as the Special Guest; The event was chaired by Professor Dr. A. B. M. Harun-Ur-Rashid, Head, Dept. of EEE, BUET and Professor Dr. Moshiul Hoque, Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section.
