With the goal of creating a global platform for cooperation among researchers and enthusiasts in the field of robotics and automation, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Student Branch Chapter is organizing the ‘Second International Meetup of Robotics and Automation Enthusiasts: Robotics and Automation During Covid’. IEEE BUET Student Branch, IEEE BUET Student Branch WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section, and IEEE RAS Bangladesh Chapter are joint organizers for the event.

With the development of technologies around the world, the application of robotics and automation in different fields is considered of utmost importance. Even with the ongoing Covid pandemic, robotics and automation research is playing a vital role in helping mankind to keep the cycle of progress ongoing. For the betterment, IEEE RAS BUET Student Branch emphasizes constant communication among its peers on an active basis.

The event will include Technical Talks, Panel Discussions from esteemed speakers from around the IEEE Region 10 demographic; who will share their ideas and thoughts on how to carry out research and projects during these tough times. Along with that, the idea to increase activities in the region based on collaborative efforts will also be discussed with the respective guests.

The event will be held on the virtual platform Zoom.
