IEEE Bangladesh Section Appreciation and Award Ceremony 2024
The “Industry and Entrepreneurship Forum on the Future of AI in Robotics and Automation in Bangladesh” was held on 30th November 2024 at the Institute of Robotics and Automation, BUET (IRAB), Dhaka. This event was organized by IEEE Bangladesh Section and co-located with the 3rd IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things (RAAICON 2024). The forum served as a dynamic platform for industry experts, entrepreneurs, academicians, and policymakers to discuss the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the fields of robotics and automation, focusing on its impact on Bangladesh’s industrial and entrepreneurial landscape.
The forum commenced with a welcome address by representatives from IEEE Bangladesh Section and IRAB, emphasizing the significance of AI-driven automation in shaping the future of Bangladesh’s industries. Industry experts shared their business experiences, highlighting real-world applications of AI-driven robotics and automation. They discussed:
- Success stories of AI implementation in manufacturing and logistics.
- Challenges and lessons learned in integrating AI into traditional business models.
- Strategies for startups to navigate the AI-driven industrial landscape.
The event provided attendees with an excellent opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations in AI-based automation and robotics ventures.
