IEEE Smart City: Bangladesh perspective
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]IEEE IUT SB celebrated the inclusion of new members to the family by a Fresher’s reception on 17th February, 2016. Inaugurated by the new Chair of the branch MD. Muhtady Muhaisin Rafid, the program was anchored by Galib Nakib Rahman, the Public Relation Officer, who started by showing video of welcome messages from alumni abroad and later on a video introducing new Executive Committee was shown. Then the guests of honor, Mr. Rashid Al Mukaddim, the ex-chair of the branch and lecturer of IUT EEE and Mr. Nafiul Ashfaq Nafi, the ex-vice chair of the branch, conducted a lively session regarding IEEE where every questions raised by the newbies were answered eloquently. Later on they handed over the prizes to the winners of the quiz competition hosted by Md. Abdul Moin, the Technical Officer. As for the final surprise, the winning Mars Rover team of 2015 from IUT came up on stage and depicted their journey to the heroics. They also thanked IEEE IUT SB for inviting them and giving them the scope to present themselves. The whole package was compact and enthusiastic enough to trigger the freshmen with adrenaline rush who signed up for IEEE in a frenzy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
