IEEE Smart City: Bangladesh perspective
For the first time in Bangladesh, IEEE Bangladesh Section, IEEE Industry Application Society Bangladesh Chapter and global IEEE Industry Application Society organized IEEE International Conference on Power Electrical, Electronics and Industrial Applications 2019 on 28th Nov-1st December 2019. The program took place at Fars Hotel and Resorts in Dhaka. The conference was co-located with eight other conferences/workshops. As a result authors of this conference also attended the keynote/invited talks and varieties of technical sessions of all co-located conferences/workshops which involved contribution from 16 speakers and authors from 10 different countries. The conferences were:

Full papers submitted to the conference were thoroughly reviewed by a pool of expert reviewers. A total of 31 papers have been presented after being selected from about 48 submitted papers involving 184 authors. All publications were reviewed by at least two independent reviewers and a technical committee member in order to maintain the quality of the conference. In total 26 reviewers were involved in the extensive review process of this conference.
There were five keynote talks and one invited talk in the conference. The keynote speakers were Dr. Saifur Rahman, Dr. Ronghai Qu, Dr. Syed Islam, Dr. M. Rezwan Khan and Dr. Ruomei Li. The invited speaker was Ahmed Y Saber.
The conferences and events served as a platform for academic researchers and research scholars working mainly in the field of power, electrical, electronics and industrial applications to exchange and share their experience and research results on diverse theoretical and practical problems.
