CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH

On 31st December 2020 IEEE Bangladesh Section a virtual Awards Night. Prof. Dr. Celia Shahnaz, IEEE Bangladesh Section Chair presided over the program. Prof. Dr. Zunaid Baten, Awards Coordinator, IEEE Bangladesh Section moderated the Awards Session. More than 200 members joined the program.
IEEE Bangladesh Section (BDS) is glad to announce again the winners of IEEE BDS Awards 2020 under the following categories:
- Outstanding Student Branch: IEEE IUB Student Branch
- Women In Engineering (WIE) Outstanding Student Branch Affinity Group: IEEE BUP Student Branch WIE Affinity Group
- Outstanding Student Volunteer: Hossain Md Sabir
- Women In Engineering (WIE) Outstanding Student Volunteer: Suhee Sanjana Mehjabin
- Outstanding Stand Branch Counselor: Md. Kafiul Islam

It is to be noted that this is the first time that IEEE BDS has conferred WIE Outstanding Student Branch Affinity Group and WIE Outstanding Student Volunteer awards.
