IEEE Bangladesh Section organized “IEEE Bangladesh Section Annual Dinner 2019” on 25
December 2019 at GrameenPhone Center, Bashundhara R/A, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
There was held an award ceremony to honor and recognize the people as well as the
student branches working diligently throughout the year to achieve the goals of IEEE & IEEE
BDS. Dr. Reduan Hasan Khan, GrameenPhone, Dr. Ahmedullah Aziz, University of
Tennessee, Knoxville, Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Hossain, KAUST, UC Berkeley and Dr sayeef
Salahuddin, UC Berkely had a session with the participant on various important agenda.
After that, the awards were announced. IEEE BUET Student Branch and IEEE NSU Student
Branch were jointly announced the Best Student Branch for the year of 2020 for their
amazing contribution. Mr. Satyaki Banik, Chair, IEEE BUET Student Branch was awarded as
the Best Volunteer of 2019.
After that there was a cake cutting session following a dinner. The event came to an end
after wishing everyone happiness and prosperity for the upcoming new year.
