IEEE Bangladesh Section, IEEE Bangladesh Section WIE Affinity Group, and IEEE Madras Section WIE Affinity Group jointly organized the 10th IEEE International Women in Engineering (WIE) Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering 2024 (IEEE WIECON-ECE 2024) at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, INDIA. The conference was held on December 6-7, 2024 in hybrid mode. Accepted and Presented papers were recommended for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
The 10th IEEE International Women in Engineering (WIE) Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE 2024) brought together researchers, practitioners, and students to exchange knowledge and present their research in the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This hybrid event provided an interdisciplinary platform to discuss innovative solutions and emerging trends. In alignment with WIE’s mission to empower women in engineering, all papers submitted to the conference required at least one female author.

At the 10th IEEE WIECON-ECE 2024, 84 research papers and 8 keynote speeches were presented. At least 280 people of diverse professions participated in different parts of the country and abroad, including scientists, teachers, researchers, engineers, and students in the hybrid mode.
