



ProCon 2024, a dynamic convergence of innovation and intellectual discourse, was successfully organized on November 2, 2024, at KUET, Bangladesh. Hosted by the IEEE Bangladesh Section in collaboration with the IEEE KUET Student Branch, this premier event encompassed two exciting sub-events: the Technical Pitching Competition and ProCon’24 Debating Contest. Together, these events celebrated creativity, analytical thinking, and eloquence, attracting a total of 81 enthusiastic participants.
The ProCon 2024 Inaugural Ceremony, held on November 2, 2024, at the Science Gallery, Science Building, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), marked the formal commencement of this prestigious event. Distinguished dignitaries and guests graced the occasion, reflecting the significance of the event.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of the following esteemed individuals:

The session began with a warm welcome and insightful speeches from the guests, emphasizing the importance of technical innovation, professional development, and intellectual engagement. Their addresses inspired participants to make the most of the opportunities provided by ProCon 2024. The inaugural session set a positive tone, fostering enthusiasm and anticipation for the day’s events.
Event Highlights
The Technical Pitching Competition, held on 2 November 2024 at KUET, Bangladesh, brought together innovative minds to present technology-driven solutions across critical topics such as Climate Change and Sustainability, IoT, Blockchain, and more. Each pitch deck adhered to a well-defined structure, encouraging participants to address real-world problems with creative and viable solutions. A total of 17 teams comprising 42 participants took part, demonstrating exceptional ingenuity and problem-solving abilities.
Simultaneously, the ProCon’24 Debating Contest tested the intellectual and rhetorical prowess of participants through the rigorous Asian Parliamentary (AP) format. Conducted on Discord, the debates revolved around challenging technical motions, fostering thought-provoking discussions. The competition featured 13 teams with 39 participants, showcasing their ability to argue effectively and think critically under pressure.
The prize-giving ceremony, held at the conclusion of the events, celebrated the winners’ accomplishments with monetary awards, crests, and certificates.
