IEEE Bangladesh Section organized a Volunteer Recognition Program for IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2018. 70 volunteers from different institutes who had worked with dedication for IEEE WIE ILS 2018, IEEE Bangladesh Section and its new technical societies in 2019 joined the event.
Volunteers shared their experiences of working in WIE ILS 2018 which was one of the largest flagship events of IEEE that Bangladesh Section has ever hosted. The section Chair prof. Dr. Celia Shahnaz shared her vision about organizing volunteer recognition for the incredible team of volunteers, she motivated everyone for becoming a part of the future events, such as 5 collocated technical society conferences/ workshop and upcoming TENSYMP 2020. Then every volunteer individually received a framed certificate from WIE ILS 2018’s General Chair Dr. Celia Shahnaz. IEEE WIE ILS program Chair Anamika Vakta was present there. Each volunteer received an especially designed T-shirt as a token of appreciation. Finally, the program concluded with a dinner.
