CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 28th April 2016, IEEE JU Student Branch organized a seminar entitled “Seminar on Robotics: Introduction and Challenges” at Dean Seminar Room (2nd floor), Faculty of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, IIT Building, Jahangirnagar University (JU). With 45 participants, the seminar aimed to introduce the students to the challenges in robotics.
Branch Counselor Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, Lecturer, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, with an inspirational speech, initiated the Event. Md. Istiaque Rahaman, Lecturer, EEE, Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology and Team Lead, IUT Lunabotics, 3rd & 4th Annual Lunabotics Mining Competition at NASA, USA went onto demonstrate the agenda of Robotics. He showed definition of Robot, different types of Robot, wireless lunar excavator robot, software and hardware requirements and challenges.
The event was concluded by Zamshed Iqbal Chowdhury, Lecturer, Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University & Counselor, IEEE JU student branch; presenting the Speaker with a token of appreciation from IEEE JU student branch. Dr. M. Shamim Kaiser, Associate Professor, Jahangirnagar University, Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Assistant Professor, Jahangirnagar University graced the event with their presence.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
