Description: The IEEE International Women in Engineering (WIE) Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering 2015 (WIECON-ECE 2015) was organized for the first time to bring together individuals, especially women personnel conducting research and professional activities in the area of ECE to share and present their latest ideas and findings. WIE Affinity Group, IEEE BDS has taken this initiative in collaboration with IEEE Bangladesh Section with a theme “Contribute and Continue Research and Innovation – Achieve Professional Excellence beyond Yourself”. The conference was held in BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh during December 19-20, 2015. With a view to encourage more participation of women in WIECON-ECE 2015, each paper submitted had at least one female author.
