CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH

In the advancement of technology, Electrical, Computer & Communication Engineering has an outstanding contribution. The 2nd international conference on Electrical, Computer & Communication Engineering (ECCE 2019) has been organized by the faculty of Electrical & Communication Engineering (ECE) of Chittagong University of Engineering Technology (CUET) on 7th to 9th February 2019. This conference has been arranged in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh which is one of the most visited tourist destination in Asia.
The main motive of this conference is to bring together the leading academics, scientists, researchers, scholars in different fields of Electrical, Computer & Communication Engineering around the world so that they can exchange new ideas, share knowledge as well as explore recent developments. Scarcity of jobs and creation of new jobs will be key challenges for the next decades. So alternative is the only way to survive. ECCE 2019 has a specific focus on these recent trends and advancement of innovations.
A committee has been formed in CUET where chief patron is our honorable vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam. Besides in the organizing committee, Kaushik Deb from CUET is the Organizing chair. Organizing co-chair is Quazi Delwar Hossain, Mohammad Shamsul Arefin, Muhammad Ahsan Ullah from CUET. Organizing secretory is Mohammad Rubaiyat Tanvir Hossain. On the other hand, in the technical committee, the chair is Mohammad Moshiul Hoque and secretory is Md. Azad Hossain.
The call for papers ECCE 2019 attracted 812 full paper submissions from Bangladesh, Australia, United States, Canada, Malaysia, Korea, India, Nepal, Somalia. The acceptance rate of paper is 33.62% where 127 are selected for oral and 120 are selected for poster presentation based on the track chair recommendation. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for archiving.
EECE 2019 invites papers from all areas of electrical, computer and communication engineering. The topics of interest include circuits and systems; power electronics, machine & drive; robotics control and automation; communications and signal processing; image processing, computer vision and multimedia, VLSI & embedded system; Cybersecurity, big data, cloud computing; biomedical engineering; E-commerce & E-Governance and so on.
Nowadays the demand for new technologies and innovations with new design and applications in every sphere of life is growing and updating very quickly. Considering the fact in mind that Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering contribute significantly to the advancement of technology. It plays a vital role in the recent technological developments, modernizing and improving the quality over lives with continuous research and investigation, transfer of technology and dissemination of knowledge, etc.
